Will God Locking You Out Be Enough for You to Change?

"And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, son of man, set thy face toward the mountains of Israel, and prophesy against them, and say, Ye mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord GOD; Thus says the Lord GOD to the mountains, and to the hills, to the rivers, and to the valleys; Behold, I, even I, will bring a sword upon you, and I will destroy your high places (Ezekiel 6:1-3). Then shall ye know that I am the LORD, when their slain men shall be among their idols round about their altars, upon every high hill, in all the tops of the mountains, and under every green tree, and under every thick oak, the place where they did offer sweet savor to all their idols (Ezekiel 6:13).

When God Says Its Enough You Shall Know It

When God gets tired of His children setting up idols everywhere in His land, He will remove them by force. We are to focus our worship to one; Jesus Christ. Anything not of God separates us from His blessings. God will not share His Glory with idols. Anything that we put in the place of God is an idol. He said, "thou shalt not bow down thyself unto them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me, and shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me and keep my commandments (Deuteronomy 5:9-10). Without God's favor, we are barren. When there is absolutely nothing left but emptiness, then we'll know that Jesus is Lord. God shows mercy to those who love Him. "For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. (Ephesians 2:10).

Praise God From Whom All Blessings Flow

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God (John 3:16-18). "For the LORD thy God is a consuming fire, even a jealous God (Deuteronomy 4:24).
